And a question. Is the Vesper Liturgy known in Russia, or is it something Father Romanus borrowed from the Melkites? We use it on the eve of weekday feasts: Father has a day job, and so do most of us.

archdiocese in America also uses the
vesperal liturgy on great feasts
on weekdays. +S
