Whassup, Peeps?

So Janice called about nine and said her kids were coming into town to look for an apartment, and would I look after their stuff... I tried to communicate my enthusiasm for Scruton's autobiographical reflections, which I have been up reading with the Better Half in Texas. She mentioned something about his being an arrogant little prick (or maybe the word she used was bastard) -- evidently he had visited Toronto, and said that Paul likes him. Paul being my former room mate, her ex-husband and the father of her children. The remark puts the three of us, Paul, Roger, and me (Is there a movie in this?) firmly in our not very distinguished place. Well screw that. All you people out there, read Gentle Regrets. Who needs her!
Meanwhile I am posting some of my more current and lasting links on Multiply at http://arisbe.multiply.com/ . Visit me and connect with me there if you are on. However, the information that their blogs crosspost to LJ seems to be mistaken. Either that or I haven't figured them out very well. (Evidently not. I just did it.) Still it's a good place to keep track of your face to face crowd rather than make new friends, and that's fine with me.
Last class tomorrow night, seven case study presentations in strategic management. At least that's the syllabus that was FedExed to my door a couple of weeks ago, though it does't seem to have been scheduled yet. Of course I never took either, I should be all right.
Where are those young people, the composer and the pianist?
