No News Isn't Always Good News

arisbeThe job I thought I had, I don't, at least for another month. One component of the software I will be training people to use has failed a final test, and can't be released without a fix.
Which might be just as well because...
The tumor I thought I didn't have, I have. The kidney doctor called at a quarter of nine this morning, his first day back. It was not an April Fool call. I have an appointment for Monday. As far as I am concerned, the sooner he can get it out and I can get on with other things, the better.
