I looked at their page, and some of it seems very interesting. Some of it seems kind of amateurish, though, which tends to get my defenses up. There's a lack of focus on some of their pages -- like "here's what I think about literature -- oh, and here's a picture of my kid!"

I thought the kid was kind of cute. He's just on the contributors' personal page, isn't he?

The discography is disappointing, perhaps very disappointing; but I suppose it is better to be an amateur of decent music than to have no use for it.

But the essays in Praesidium impress me greatly, at least the ones I had a chance to read so far.

I'll have to check out the essays. I thought the kid was on the "more about us" page, which I was going to for a "tell me your professional" fix.

It is possible to be in favor of both literate values and the sexual revolution.

Indeed. Where would literature be without sex?

Of course the sexual revolution can mean many different things.

To the extent that it means the celebration of impulse and the deprecation of discipline, then it is indeed subversive of literary values, and greater values besides.

Thank you for this link! I ordered some of their free books.

"THE WEST HAS ENTERED A POST-LITERATE STAGE."

Its a shame, but its true.
