And so good news for me. And the world of Orthodoxy. [For the numerous fast days fish count as meat but other seafood doesn't.]

By the way, many thanks for the post on God's consort. It points to the real nature of Sophia in Russian religious thought.

This is great, thanks. My friends who are fans of another squid will be mostly amused, as am I.

Tentacles

Did you see the John Huston movie Tentacles?
Amazon says that people who order that also order
Alligoator 2, I dont know about that but Alligator 1
was a very good movie of its kind, speaking of
weddings, the alligator eats an entire wedding
party and the buffet at the end of the movie.

Tentacles son of Cephalus, pupil of Aristotle, credited by Athenaeus with the invention of octopus soup. Wasn't he played by the Governor of California in Tentacles in New York, which also starred the other Arnold?

I only approximately take in your references
here ...what other arnold?
it had , being a Jaws ripoff, a theme which I
remember as being sort of striking although
not as much so as the Jaws theme.

Hercules in New York, with Arnold Stang and "Arnold Strong" who couldn't appear under his own name without losing his amateur status as a weightlifter. Funny movie.
