Of course, if you work for Nyack, I believe you'll have the option of putting some into your TIAA CREF acount from that, too.
Since AH was in manhattan today I have not spoken to her in person - so I have not gotten a "feel" for how she thought the interview went. And I won't see her tomorrow, as I'll be working from home. But I'll let you know if I hear/read (via e-mail) anything. Or you may hear about it before I do. Although any teaching confirmation memos (which used to be called "contracts") come through my office....
Anyway - as for the "Significant Glances", I don't know about CH so much, but AH certainly is a broad-minded person in these regards. Every Monday I'm telling her about my visits to such-and-such a Ukrainain Catholic Church or such-and-such an Orthodox Monastery or such-and-such a Roman Catholic church.... never been a problem for me.
Interestingly, when the dancing rule is discussed among us (and it's only ever been discussed, in my experience, in mocking fashion), "social" has always been put in opposition to "cultural" or "choreographed." Which of course, is absurd. ALL dancing is "cultural" - so maybe there's a loophole there. Or, if you're actually doing a step (rather than the randomness that my generation calls dancing) it could technically be considered "choreographed" so there's a loophole there.
What it comes down to is that my former student-worker (an sophomore at the time) got busted for dancing at a club when a fellow student turned her in, but students who are from various ethnic backgrounds are somehow allowed to dance their dances, because it's cultural.
