No News Isn't Always Good News

The job I thought I had, I don't, at least for another month. One component of the software I will be training people to use has failed a final test, and can't be released without a fix.

Which might be just as well because...

The tumor I thought I didn't have, I have. The kidney doctor called at a quarter of nine this morning, his first day back. It was not an April Fool call. I have an appointment for Monday. As far as I am concerned, the sooner he can get it out and I can get on with other things, the better.

Thanks for your continuing thoughts and prayers.

It just keeps piling up doesn't it? I've heard that you're never given more than you can handle.. I don't think that's true of everyone, but I do think that you're more prepared than 99% of the population. I hope things pick up for you. I'm keeping you in my thoughts.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

My present plan is not to try to handle anything, but leave it to the doctors.

I guess 9/11 prepared me for the idea that stuff happens.
