seraphimsigrist asked. Actually, I didn't know about the comics until he googled for them; but I caught part of an old movie once, and a student of mine at Brandeis (no, not that Brandeis) clued me in. Wonder what happened to the kid? Had some sort of ancient Greek name -- Miltiades, I think. And he taught me how to pronounce the principal's name (Murray Cohn) in Spanish...
