Sleepy

Spent two hours and $90 cash (not to mention taxi fare both ways) at NYU Dental School's emergency clinic, and I'm not sorry in the least. Evidently I fractured a crown some time ago, and it was just getting around to hurting. They cleaned it out down to the root canal and filled it up with a temporary; I will bring it back to them a week from Thursday, along with at least two others. It will probably take many months and a couple of thousand dollars to get the whole mouth in shape, but I like the woman I will be working with, who has been treating Maya as well.

All of which has nothing to do with Pope or President, Kierkegaard or Leo Strauss, Vernon Watkins or Howard Lovecraft, but that's what I have for you at the moment.
