Did you miss me?
Internet went off Thursday night and was on and off since. Some problem in the Verizon building on 73rd off Columbus, or so the customer support line implied. Will we get credit for the days of outage? Perhaps. Thank Feofan the Recluse, patron of the Internets, I was able to email the encyclopedia article yesterday morning, my first piece of paid (or to be paid) writing since my profile of the Quakers a year ago, and an assignment not solicited from a friend but one for which someone who knows my work sought me out.
I don't think I will go back and read your entries now. I am exhausted from (don't laugh) a church picnic, and my eyes have been fairly bloodshot of late. Perhaps by the end of the week I can come up with the copay on my blood pressure meds.
So if I have missed something I really ought to know about, please indicate in the comments.
