Shortly after noon the great white tent was struck and carried away, and normal street traffic restored. The Mayor and Governor were gone, if indeed they were here in the first place. The rain, which had been very heavy indeed, stopped, and now the sun is out. Seven World Trade Center, under construction for quite some time but far from finished, has been officially dedicated, whatever that means. As somewhat esoteric tradition might insist, the dedication ceremony was held at the Northeast corner of the site.
