Ay. We apes really *are* a strange bunch. In the past signals of this sort were things like red neckties and so forth. But now it would seem it's perfectly sane and far easier to arrange a sexual rendezvous electronically with someone he or she has never met, but who is within several yards, than to just proposition the horny-looking person within that same proximity.
